Layout Name: Tranquility

Subject: Jeff
Layout Type: Component
Compatible With: I think that Component is only available for Plus and above?
Credits: Included in the layout
Big Preview: Right here.
Custom header: Included in the layout.
Custom CSS: In the textarea under the cut (copy/paste everything)

Installation Instructions: *PLEASE* try to follow these yourself first, and if you still need help, THEN IM me. I'm more than happy to help, but we all learn by doing, right?
  1. First, you need to change your layout to Component. Do that by going here. Select the one entitled Pink Elephants. (Note: the link opens in a new window.)
  2. At the bottom of the page, it says 3. Choose a Page Setup. First you have to change the Ad Placement to Horizontal and Save. Then change it to Between Entries* and Save. You need to do this because the ads can only be placed between journal entries on the main page. This means that when you want to view comments or view an entry behind the cut, the ads will move to either a Horizontal or Vertical position. If the ads go vertical, part of the banner will be covered. When you save the ad placement as Horizontal first, this ensures that they will go horizontally when you view comments/entries behind the cut. Don't understand? Forget about it and just follow the instructions without question.
  3. Now make sure that the layout (below the ad placement) says 2 Column (sidebar on right). Apply the layout. Now click Customise Selected Theme.
  4. On the left of the page you'll see a menu. Click the link that says Text. When the page loads, there'll be another link that says expand all. Click it and scroll down.
  5. Under the Navigation heading, you'll see textareas that say entries, friends, archive, user info. Change the first three to say this:
    • entries |
    • friends |
    • archive |
  6. Save. Now, back to the left-hand menu, you'll see a link that says Components. Click it. Scroll down on the page to where it says Enable Free Text and change the drop down option to Yes. In the textarea beneath it, copy and paste the following:
    • Layout by <lj user="lawlzify">. Header brushes from <a href="http://axeraider70.deviantart.com">Axeraider70</a>.
  7. You can write anything else you want in that textbox, but just keep the credit there. SAVE. Now go back to the menu on the left and click the link that says Custom CSS.
  8. Change the one dropdown option to No. Now in the big textbox, copy and paste the code from the textbox above. CHANGE NOTHING IN IT. SAVE.

Layout Name: Silk and Underwear

Subject: Jeff & Chip
Layout Type: Flexible Squares
Compatible With: I think it's compatible with all three levels.
Credits: Included in the layout.
Big Preview: Right here.
Custom header, background, gradient: Included in the layout
Custom CSS: In the textarea.
What can you change?: I really wouldn't change anything. O.O MAYBE the colours. But I REALLY wouldn't change anything. Depending on your screen resolution, you might also need to shift the percentages for the top navigation...but it SHOULD be okay.
